The Green Samsara
The first step has been to replace the entire lighting roof of the restaurant, 41-45W halogen each generating cumulative consumption of 1845W.
The replacement was done with 35 LEDS-1W LEDS and 6 of 3W, with a total power of 53W. A reduction of more than 30 times the initial use.
Undoubtedly this leads to a decrease in the cost of electric bills directly, but the reduction in consumption goes beyond since the heat generated 1845W in a small room like ours had to be thwarted by the use of air conditioning today practically is not used.
Therefore achieve a reduction of direct and indirect besides the additional benefits it brings to our environment the rationalization of resources we use.
Samsara invite all our clients and friends to encourage exploring the possibilities provided by new means with which we have to reduce consumption of energy.

The Wall...

The new challenge in Samsara has been transforming the walls of our terrace with a mural that covers the entrance of the Restaurant. We have enjoyed the collaboration of Micky Mendoza, artist who has done projects for institutions like the carnival in Las Palmas and various municipalities, as well as individuals and businesses.

Santi Carballo by Samsara

The next July 10 at 19:30 we'll open our 4th exhibition in Samsara. That is why we invite you to take a cocktail of champagne and know the work of Santiago Carballo.
After 10 years, which has consolidated a job and personal style, with collaborations for the Pasarela Moda Calida and his own atelier located in the C/Canalejas, 50, Las Palmas, the canarian designer Santi Carballo, designer has decided to shift in his career and presents in the art gallery Samsara their new jobs.
Two lines designed for women. The first, elegant and cosmopolitan where the quality of materials is accompanied by an exquisite treatment of materials, and the second, more youthful, linked directly with the origins of their craft work.
It also gives us a masculine style, this time sober than his usual works.
And finally, as first, a line for the professional; Santi has created a serie of supplements that are custom mold to the needs of each client.

La Luz Curva

Samsara Art Gallery is pleased to invite you to "LA LUZ CURVA" an exhibition of paintings by Irena Hosnova in which she introduce two lines of work that at first glance seem opposed.
The first is a world where the colour flows through tunnels, ascends and falls back into endless spirals.
The second line, dark and almost monochromatic presents a surreal world where women emerging from the darkness are transformed into birds, talk and walk between curves that sometimes end up in an explosion.
Two opposing views together by the femininity of a line tour ahead of the observer.
The inauguration will take place on June 12 at 19:00, in which the artist presented his work and offer a cocktail and may be accessed until day 30.
Irena Hosnova is an artist who was born in Plzen, a city in southern Bohemia in 1975. Daughter of painter Evzen Stork, studied Fine Arts in Prague. In 1993 he moved to Gran Canaria. There is still painting and exhibiting of individually and collectively in various galleries, including: Casa Condal (Maspalomas), German Consulate, Salon Atlantida Hotel Neptuno, Casa de Postas (Ingenio), D. Jose Chafer's notary, etc. ...
