The Green Samsara

We have begun to replace halogen lighting of Samsara by LEDS.

The first step has been to replace the entire lighting roof of the restaurant, 41-45W halogen each generating cumulative consumption of 1845W.

The replacement was done with 35 LEDS-1W LEDS and 6 of 3W, with a total power of 53W. A reduction of more than 30 times the initial use.

Undoubtedly this leads to a decrease in the cost of electric bills directly, but the reduction in consumption goes beyond since the heat generated 1845W in a small room like ours had to be thwarted by the use of air conditioning today practically is not used.

Therefore achieve a reduction of direct and indirect besides the additional benefits it brings to our environment the rationalization of resources we use.

Samsara invite all our clients and friends to encourage exploring the possibilities provided by new means with which we have to reduce consumption of energy.

The Wall...

The new challenge in Samsara has been transforming the walls of our terrace with a mural that covers the entrance of the Restaurant. We have enjoyed the collaboration of Micky Mendoza, artist who has done projects for institutions like the carnival in Las Palmas and various municipalities, as well as individuals and businesses.
